St Paul’s RC Church
This church was built to accommodate a new congregation. The church was linked with St Margaret’s R C Church, Davidsons Mains, with whom they shared a parish priest.
The website of the Archdiocese of St Andrews and Edinburgh states that the parish was suppressed on 12 October 2014. The territory of the former parish is now a part of St Margaret’s, Davidsons Mains. (Information as at 10 May 2016).
The building was severely damaged in a fire on 1 December 2014 and in June 2016 planning permission was granted for the demolition of the building and construction of student housing on the site.
