Craigmuir Primary School
New houses on the site

This school was located immediately north of West Pilton Park.
The present Forthview Primary School, in a building constructed in 2002, incorporates this school and the former Inchview Primary School.
We do not have full information, but believe the school was probably built in the late 1930s and designed by the City Architect at the time, E J Macrae.
Following closure and demolition of the school, new houses were built on the site.
