Craigroyston Community High School

This school was built in 2009 to replace a previous building further south on Pennywell Road. The site of the new school had previously been occupied by houses, which were demolished shortly before construction of the school began.

It was constructed for City of Edinburgh Council under the Public Private Partnership phase 2 as part of a programme of replacing schools throughout the city.

The school was officially opened on 12 May 2010 by Sir Tom Farmer.
